’Sitting with a coffee and wonderful memories of those who are no longer with me but who made a huge impact on who I am, my Grandmother my Grandfather, my Dad and those special times that are now just memories of my childhood that surface from time to time and always make me smile. My first jewellery box from my Grandma with its beautiful twirling ballerina, My brothers spinning top with all its bright colours, Mum's gorgeous Duchess set on her dresser, look but don't touch, Grandpas shiny pocket watch, Grandma's gorgeous Jug & bowl on the side table and I will never forget the beautiful Kewpie Dolls on a stick Dad would buy me from the local show which danced in a line hanging from my curtain rod a new one added every year.

As I see the bottom of my now empty coffee cup I can also picture the Stitcheries and the quilt that they are about to become!’
